Getting the arsenal ready

    I spent this evening reespooling 16 reels with fresh biggame line...It takes alot of line to do 16 reel:smile2:

    Cleaning old shad scales off my rods and such...Now I am just ready for spring.

    Now you can go to Mellon's house and help him.:smile2: He may need to hold a " reel lining gathering" to get all of his up for commission before the season starts! :roll_eyes::crazy: rollo

    That is a nice collection of reels ya got there. Looks like you are ready to chase Mr. Flathead for the summer. It wont be long till ice out.

    I don't have nearly the arsenal Jack or many of you have but i am Slowly heading that direction! Mine are freshly spooled (with Sufix Siege) and ready to go too!

    Nice bunch of reels you got there Jack. What's gonna kill ya now is having everything done and waiting on the weather.We'll all be happy to do a test run with em' while you're waiting though.....

    What are you doing with spinning reels? I've only seen you use abu's and maybe only 3 of them. Call me i think you could use someone to talk to about your offseason habits. :tounge_out::smile2:

    Mellon just got me a new one off of ebay, cant wait to get it!

    Have you discovered any kind of spray product that will lift off the dried on scales?
    I haven't ever found anything that works well...W

    1- 6 ft'er
    4- 7 ft'ers
    2- 8 ft'ers

    I'm ready to fish now I just gotta pop my spare spools on my reels and I'm ready to go I only have my 2 rods and reels the 808 boss hawg combo for my wife and soon gettin a hawg seeker with the alarm for my son and pretty much just hope nothing breaks:cross:

    I just bought 2 6000c's 1 6000, and 2 7000's. I'll buy a few more rods and get all my stuff together for a pic. I have more than 25 vintage abu's now. The collection keeps growing ! :cool2:
