I bought a used boat and the guy who had it was from KY. I'm from tennessee so I need a new regerstration. The problem is I can't figure out for the life of me how to pull the off the old regerstration numbers. Any tips on how to acomplish this. thanks

try a heat gun. its like a hair dryer but alot hoter. it will melt the adhesive and pull right off without damage to the paint.

Use a hair dryer or heat gun and heat them and take a scraper and they will peel right off.

If none of that works go to walmart and by a can of "Goof Off". It's made for removing stickers that are being stubborn.

Youngun, what I do is "carefully" peel off the vinyl stickers with a razor blade or utility knife blade. Another fine product foeasily removing the adhesive is Goo Gone. It comes it a plastic spray bottle from wallyworld or you local auto parts store.
