This is really sad. Ive been a BOC member for one month, and have not seen a single post from any of the N. Y. members. I just dont get it!! Guess ill have to move to New Jersey, so i can go fishing with my brothers down there.

Come on Down Steve we got the raritan the delaware as well as many other rivers and lakes loaded to rim with catfish that no one fishes for. Ive seen the New York forum and I can understand. As for other brothers there aint but 4 or 5 of us.

I believe New Jersey is as far north as Catfish go. From New York to Maine you have to look for "Horned Pout". My friend in Maine was telling about a "Wicked Big Horned Pout" he caught a couple years ago. He said it went almost 3 pounds. What a monster!
Come on down to Virginia. Catfishing is like a religion down here. We have meetings every Friday and Saturday night.

When I lived in Maine they called brown bullheads "Horned Pout". They also had a species called the "white catfish". It was different than bullheads, channels, or blues. A totally different species.
