...and haven't decided whether to go to the river and try for my first flattie, or just go to the lake and see what the channels are doing.

With the weather (rain, cool temps) in mind - anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

I pretty much would pick the river 19/20 times if the conditions are ok. There has been a bit of rain lately is the river your planning to fish in good shape? If the river was looking good and safe I would pick that, if not I usually go to the lake.

ahh, that's the question... dunno what the river conditions are like right now, and it's about an hour drive where the lake is only about 30 minutes...

But i'm definitely leaning towards the river....
