very nice, i'm actually looking into getting this. little pricey but definetely worth it.
damn keith, i just noticed it is 4:45 in the morning, time to go to bed haha.
ive got a 7000 ic3 , the silver one, and it is awesome, i cant imagine how bad a$$ this one would be :smile2:
is this the one you have? I was looking at this too.
yep , its a bad boy , i bet that new one is smoother
Thats the one
I have 3 of them Jake and they are wonderful and they should have a 20.00 mail in rebate for them
i'm kind of lazy and like the spool guide though. the red iC3 doesn't have one does it.
I didnt notice that. Well, I take it back. This reel officially sucks. :smile2:
Yeah me too I have to have a levelwind and for 200.00:crazy:
well i guess its not that bad but it is still kind of a pain. i used a big ocean baitcast penn reel in the gulf without a spool guide. its just more to worry about and if you don't pay attention you get a big mound of line on one side of the spool that eventually will start rubbing up against the frame. i'm sure you would get used to spooling it yourself.
i wish bassproshops had the 7000C3I, they only have the 6501C3 which holds 245yrds of 14 pound
they have it you just might have to order it or have them order you one
I bought one there I got the floor model for 20.00 off or something
here is the link
oh nice because i'd like to take advantage of this spring fishing classic they have going on till sunday. if you have a card with them you save like 20 bux for every 100 you spend or something.
yeah without levelwind is a pain in the a$$ , i cant believe they made that without it
also if you take a used reel with you and give it too them they will take some money off depending on how much the reel you buy cost then they clean them up and give them to kids that can afford fishing reels or have a disablity.
Yeah Jake , that would be your good deed for the day. Take in an old reel, so Donnie can get a new reel. :smile2:
wow thanks guys, i'm gonna go tomorrow and see if they have it. i just hope they have a decent rod for it. they had a lot better selection of rods for baitcast than spinning though if i can remember.
Jake have you read the reviews on the 7000ic3 at BP pretty good reviews some guy said he caught a 47# blue on his secound trip lots of 5 star reviews
they have the rods that would be great it's just 8' and a one piece
