Like the subject line says basically, i usually fish about a 7 acre lake, pretty deep mostly, nestled in between the mountains, so the banks drop off pretty quickly. Whens the best time of year for it? Fishing mostly blues.

Any points running down into the lake would be a killer starting point!

I bet there is some hogs in that lake, being deep in between mountains= cooler water= active blues pretty much year round, which= BIG FISH:eek:oooh::wink:

All the cooler months would be prime time:cool2:

i've only fished it a couple times, and we've caught a few blues that were a few pounds a piece, but we havn't gotten into a lot of fish yet, and we havn't gotten anything of real size. of course, we were fishing when it was really hot...but if you guys wanna take a look at the lake, its called Sherando Lake in Virginia. There's actually two lakes (man made of course) and the catfish are in the lower lake.
