Yeah, we was in it last night..... and Gdog stole my majic hooks while I wasn't lookin' lol.
I caught one lowly flathead- but he smacked down 6 of 'em while battling the storm- complete with lighting bolts- the river rose at least 3 foot while we were on it.... Gdog caught one close to 30 lbs + five others- dispite conditions we still found 'em.
It's up to Gdog wether he post pics or not... I took the pic of the big one on his camera, so it outta my control lol

Friends, I am trying to get into the picture-uploading biz!

Well, that was quite a trip. After about two inches of rain on our heads, I finally landed a big flatty fishing with Dr Pepper, but it didn't take me long to learn his weakness:

"Here's one," I said. "Get the net."
"What?" Pepper asks.
"The net! Get the net! And move that rod!"
At this point, Pepper grabs my other rod, reels it in, then tangles the three-way rig around the rod of the pole with the fish on it. Now I am fighting both the fish and the other rod, held by Pepper.
"Cut it! Cut it!" I yell.
Pepper cuts the line of the three-way rig, so I can fight the fish.
"Turn on that net light," I say.
"What?" he asks.
I reach over and turn on the net light. Now we can both watch as Pepper thrashes the net around like a sword and tries to knock my fish off the line.
Finally he nets the flatty.
"Get the camera," I say.
"What?" Pepper asks.
So the moral of the story is, if your partner usually catches a lot more fish than you do, don't be surprised if he doesn't know how to do things like handle a landing net or a camera.

p.s. Notice how the first pic is fuzzy as heck. See what I mean? He's not used to being on that side of the lens.

Im starting to wonder if the black cloud came from me or Pepper! He will have to change his name to the walmart brand if he keeps that stuff up.. DrPepper aka, DrThunder!
LOL no, at that point I was like in stage 3 of hypothermia.... the part where your brain starts shutting down to preserve your vital organs lmao.... all my dumb ass had on was a tee shirt and jeans - I had to jump in the river to dry off lol.
Nice flattie Greg, now it's my turn again yay!
