I just got off the phone with Jim. he had his surgery today and it ended up being a rather large bone spur which was causing him the problems.
He's at home now resting and doing fine. Course, he says the numbing meds haven't worn off yet.
I think he may need a few more pillows.
Keep our brother in your thoughts, he's a great guy!

Those bone spurs can be cantankerous. Hopefully this will get him back in action. We're all rootin' for him...

I'm a senior citizen and I'm good on a trip for at least an hour without my aspirin, beano, and antacid.

OK good news and bad. First it was not as bad a teart as they though. But the shoulder was eatyen up with bone spers and is bone on bone. Surgery went great and they spent 2 hours cleaning up bone spers and build up out, they only had to use one pin instead of 2 and no wire. that was the bad news now the bad. instead of 12 to 14 months to complete recovery it looks like it will be 6 to 8 months now. So i might be back to fishing fo eaters in a month or so but I will be able to hunt this year an be chasing the big boys next year for sure.
