About an hour until the duels. I'll take Gordon in the 1st race, Martin in the 2nd.
I'm gonna save my luck for later, so I will just agree with ya on this one!:smile2:.... Jeffie and Marky Mark......rollo
Like the new avatar Papa Rollo :cool2:
This is gettin fun!!! rollo
Im not sure I understand what the deal is, they are racing to be able to make the 500??? I thought that is what qualifying for, or do they still have to qualify for position after this?
The cars that didn't qualify on time the other day, and weren't in the top 35 in owners points in 2008, had to race their way in this.. Gotta say Mikey didn't look too badoooh::roll_eyes:.... Glad I picked the #24 for this one... Feel like I may be gaining some Irish luck for this season!!!!!! WATCH OUT PEOPLE!!!!! LMAO!!!!! rollo
So the ones with grey had already qualified with a time good enough or were already top 35 correct?
Not sure, im color blind:smile2::smile2:... rollo
Thats right kiddies, Gordo pulled one off! I didnt get to see the duals, I was at work. But I was happy as hell to see this on Nascar.com!
Man, we were close Rollo, Martin almost got him at the end.
The only one's locked in a position after qualifying are the #1 and #2, Truex and Martin. The top 35 in owner points from the previous year are locked in the race but the duels determine their starting spot. And the one's outside the top 35 are racing for 4 postions, I think 4?? not sure.
And then there are a few champion provisionals if needed, probably will be used by Terry Labonte and Bill Elliot.

Yeah,he was up on the wheel again today, and driving like he used to. I think this may be a good year for him. I think he's getting tired of some people saying he doesn't have the the desire he used to have. I don't know that he will ever have the desire he had when he first came to cup ,but he just acts to me like he's out to prove something this year. I know I'm pumped right now more than I have been since Evernham left. If he can keep it running and the fenders straight I think he'll have a good year. I watched both races today and was really glad to see Jeff win and was hoping Mark Martin would have won the second one.
Jeff was strong today, he's for sure a threat to win this Sunday. I was thinkin about you today Glenn, when Jeff and Jimmie worked to the front but Jimmie got hung out to dry...lol I thought, paybacks are hell aren't they Jimmie...lol :smile2:
Whats sad is we have Direct TV with DVR oooh:, I rarely use it and forgot all about having it . I know, no need to say it. I'm a dumb ass! :smile2:
There is a replay on Speed Channel right now if ya missed it today.
Josh, you goin back to Dega this spring??? Let me know, I'll be there....
Mike not sure yet. We have tickets but I dont know if work will allow me to go. If I do I will let you know.
Best quote of the day was from Ryan Newman:
