    Hey Fellows,

I was just sitting here in front of the old computer and looking at some of the photos from last years Gathering on the Cal. Delta.

    :still_dreaming:

I just wanted to share some of the photos that I was checking out with you all.

    I hope so Ed :0a32:

My man :worship: "Ray" (aka Gilmafam or Bayrunner Ray) & "Tom" (aka PlumberTom1) were the "Master Minds" behind that Gathering, and did a "D@M good job" at it too.
    (Thanks Fellows!)
    :0a31:

All I know is, we have some great Gathering in California (Mendota, Blythe ect...) but I got a filling, ("NO - I Know :confident:) that the "Deltalover Gathering" can become one of the B.O.C. best in Nor. California if it was to become an every year thing.

Bert and California boys and ladies......:0a21:

My thoughts on a trip.... via the house boat is a great ...fun thing.....

I know that for it to be successful... that the cost is about $300 per person... If the houseboat is to be used.... and ..... you know how it can get crowded... "with a full ship"....

My thoughts.... maybe every other year with the Houseboat...... have one on the beach or banks somewhere....I'd still bring the big boat, and the little one too...... Brannan Island...state park....... has great facilities..

Bert... the area (land) around "seven crown resort" is filling up with houses.......the ole bank areas are being taken over....Maybe there is a cabin at the "Tiki Laugun area" that can be rented?....Just food for thought....

But I'd like to see more folks attend the Blythe thing... and that is a time and expence thing for you boys in the Central and Bay area....as well as "us boys down here"

Riverbudd spoke about the "slot and fish" thing to Laughlin.... that sounds good too....

So with the Delta area, Mendota area, Blythe area, and the Great camping at Imperial Dam.....(Yuma).... and not to forget the prime area at "Clear Lake", we "CALI-BOYS" have many choices of where to go for gatherings.....

We need to hear from other members..... Linz, and forgive me the "Big dude" that went with us....????? OH.... Paul Shook ????

    Hey Ray,
    :0a36:
You know that I'm always up for a good time fishing. :go:

The way I look at it, "your going to spend money paying bills and being sad anyway":sad2: - "so why not spend that same money to have some fun on the water fishing and meeting some great people at the same time"?
    (Think about that :0a14:)
    :0a23:
So any California fishing Gathering, or any fish trip that I can attend, will always have my full support because I like to fish, meet great people & have a good time.

I work to hard not to do some of the things that I like to do (and one of those thing is going fishing)
    :0a22:

Brannan Island is a nice spot with plenty of hookups and a nice launch.

Yep, Brennan Island is awesome! I am in too.

The houseboat gathering was such an Awesome experience. I know it would not of happened without Ray and Tom. Those brothers should be nominated for BOC members of the year! No doubt in my mind.
I am for everyother year. No doubt that there will be other great gatherings in the future, especially with the great group of members we have here in Cali.
