    Here in Arkansas:
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel is asking Arkansas consumers to e-mail or text any evidence of price gouging at gas pumps because of Hurricane Ike.

Today, oil dropped below $100 a bbl., the lowest in 5 months.

i went out this evening to gas up the ole truck cause it was empty and couldnt believe it ....if you could find a station that actually hadnt closed off its pumps entirely because they were totally out of gas ..the ones that had gas only had premium left.

Heard a story today that Valero made the statement down here in TX that they would hold off raising prices at the pumps for just as long as they could. Slipped out at lunch and diesel was still 3.99 just like yesterday.

While I was out, saw a convoy of 10-20 tankers headed west on 90 with a police escort... hrmm...

I filled up earlier this week and the gas was $3.37 per gallon. I refilled again today about 2:30 p.m. and the gas had went up at the same station to $3.99 per gallon. People were in a panic to get gas and stock up on groceries from Fort Smith all the way to Booneville where Big Sam lives. I know that IKE is supposed to come through this area sometime Saturday night/Sunday but people are acting as crazy as the gas prices even this far from the coast.

Gassed up on the way to work, trying to keep the tank full and paid $5.00 a gallon. Saw it as high as $5.29 and as low as $4.09, but the lower priced stores were closed. Must have run out. Greed, greed, greed.

It better drop back down just as fast once they get all the refineries back up and running. I bet it takes months to get back down to what it was though, EVEN THOUGH crude oil is lower than it has been in a long time. Atleast guys with diesel engines won't be affected by the hurricanes....:confused2:
