My truck gets about 17 per gallon..Round trip to the river is about 150 miles. so figure about 9 gallans at 3.20 per gallon =28.80..The in my boat i usually run up and down the river enough to use 5 gallons of gas at 3.20 per gallon = 16 bucks..Thats 44.80...Plus any drinks or snacks i want to buy....And i make that trip at least once a week. Its getting expensive, thats for sure. Luckily i have friends that split the costs

If you consider the cost every time you do anything, you will find yourself staying at home.Catfishing is a must do. Overlook the cost and get it done. It's great thearpy. A shrink would charge you lots more for the same results. See fishing is not expensive at all.

Truck will get around 17 towing the boat. 13 mile's to the river.
Boat gets around 7 miles per gallon.
So not that bad. But not that good.. Most trips the boat takes 2 gallons.

Let's see. It's a fourteen mile round trip, so at 16mph and 680 calories per hour by bicycle, that's 595 calories, or about four Twinkies (R).

My van gets about 16mpg, but my motorhome only gets 8mpg. Nevertheless, I prefer to take the motorhome so I can spend a couple of nights, getting in 3 days fishing. Even if I only spend one night, I get in two days fishing, and don't have so much driving, so I get in more than twice as much fishing time as when I drive the van; and the cost of vehicle per day is the same. I've got a 25hp Yamaha 4-stroke that probably gets 9mpg or so. It's ok, go ahead and laugh. My outboard gets better mileage than my motorhome.
