Garr Creek Access/Badin Lake

    Does anyone use this boat access? If so, what size boat can be put in at that location. Thanks.

    It's real small if you have a jon boat you'll be alright otherwise go to Old Whitney or Badin ramp at Alco.

    Yes you can use it and you can put a good size boat in, but I wouldn't leave my truck there at night. Used to have break ins there a while back. It's real shallow, stay to the left going out, might want to use trolling motor for the first time.

    I can load and unload a 21ft carolina skiff in there but it is tight and i have had buddys trucks broken into at night !

    It's real shallow back there. only about 2-3 ft. deep at the ramp. I wouldn't try it. I always use Old Whitney.
