Gardner Lake Question

    Are there Flatheads in Gardner lake? Has Anyone ever caught any of good size?


    Also does anyone know where I can catch bullheads close to gardner/olathe?

    Tough one. Leanin towards channel but that is a weird color on a channel. Tail has slight fork. Definately doesnt look like his buddies.

    I think that is a BIG yellow bullhead. I caught one like that at Hillsdale back in March. I though mine was a flathead until I got to lookin' at its fins, they just didn't seem right.

    Troy, You may well be right, but on the mouth it looked to me like the lower jaw was protruding. Between that and the shape of the lower fins I was leaning flathead, but there definitely does appears to be some fork in that tail... Garen may be on to something about it being a bullhead.

    Absent more pictures, it's pretty hard to be sure of anything.

    yea that one is hard to tell from the picture, being dirty and not well positioned its hard to be 100% but it does appear to be flathead colored and that bottom lip kinda looks like its poking out but the dirt and camera angle leaves a little doubt:confused2:
