Just wondering if anyone has tried these hooks? And if they performed very well. I know these hooks can be pricey but not sure if anyone noticed any benefit from using them?

I bought a pack and used them one time..I found out that I dont like or need a hook that big for flatheads.

They did seem to be great hooks, just not something I needed.

I use them for live bait but I'm not sure we need them this big.

Thanks guys, I bought a pack figuring on using them for really big suckers or the like. My plan was to drop verticaly down along large log jams and barge and Mill pilings on the Ohio River so I can really set the hook hard and turn their heads quick. Being as thick as they are and using hvy line to lean on them a bit. I have used the other 10/0 Gamakatsu but was curious as to what you guys input was. Thanks again for your advice and look forward to more:confused2:

i have been using the them in 12/0 and they are some good hooks.Caught a real small channel on them also so I know they are good. The price is realy to high though I'm gonna start using the king kahl alot cheaper and just as good.

Those hooks are nice but to only get three for that price is a little high.

I like good equipment but hey, $2 a hook is too pricey to me. This is catfishing, not rocket science. Tight lines.

    I know
this thread is old but hears my .65 cents worth.
LOVE these hooks. Use them almost exclusively. Only now I buy them from Renegade Tackle. ( Sickle Hooks ) same exact thing. Same as Team Catfish Super J's. Only Much better price !!!!!! At $6.50 a 10 pack for
    6/0 you can't go wrong. I don't loose
big fish with these hooks. Don't hesitate. Order you some.
