My wife and I took a trip to Rocky Fork yesterday. Headed out to start our day of fishing, around 5:30am. Small channel's were pulled here and there, unfortunately they weren't on our lines. We managed to get a total of 6 fish from the lake. Bluegill and perch mainly. I think we were pulling the baitstealers away from our fellow fisherman's lines..HAHA We ended up leaving there after lunch. Later, we tried our luck at the new reservoir in WCH. Talk about some fun......non-stop... While we still didn't manage to catch anything worth photographing, we had alot of fun. Perch, Bluegill, and several Channel Cat (ranging from 8-14 inches) By the time we had finished off the last of our 4 dozen nightcrawlers, we had caught around 30 fish each for the day. (the little baitstealers were sure hungry) All-in-all we called the day a success. Fun is what it's all about. I hope all of you had a similar success this weekend. Am going to keep an eye on that reservoir though. Give a couple more years and that's gonna be a nice spot for Channel's. The reservoir is only about 2 years old I believe.
