I have a 58 model 35 hp johnson that uses the metal fuel tank with a thumb pump on top, it has an air and fuel connection. The problem is when I use the thumb pump it sprayes fuel out the pump and when the engines running it leaks fuel out the the top around the gasket. I've called every marina around and they've all told me they've stopped making the tanks and the rebuild kits. Any help, suggestions or info. will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Stacey go to this site and e-mail the mastertech http://www.maxrules.com/ and he can help you out. I have purchased those kits before. If you need an exploded view of the tyank let me know. I have purchased gasket making materal and o-rings -----rubber not neoprene to fix them.
