I'm thinking about putting my fuel tank in the front of my boat. 1980 75 Evinrude. It would be about 15' from the motor. I see most of the new boats have belly tanks, so I don't think the distance would be an issue, but just curious if there would be an issue drawing fuel that far and if it will draw it, is going to wear my fuel pump faster. Thanks!

I did this years ago. It worked great with one exception. Due to the balance of the boat i could not fill the front tank over about half full and run full speed. The tank was easy to fill. It helped the trim of the boat. It was out of the way.

Thanks! My boat porpoises like a son of a gun when I trim the motor up, I'm hoping with a little better weight distribution it helps out with that as well as making it a little more convenient to get to the tank.
