I have a new Yamaha HPDI. The motor has lots of factory in line fuel filters, and they are expensive to replace. Should I install my own Racor type filter/water separator? Thanks

I would and stop that stuff before it gets to the motor and all those expensive filters

Totally agree!!!:) We run 7 small boats with E-Tecs down here to patrol the AIWW along Camp Lejeune and we install in line filters for each of our dual engine setups.Never have a problem as long as you change at the recommened interval.:)
