Frozen talapia as bait?

    do you think it would work? $.99 a pound is a good price for fish.

    I have to be honest that I don't think it would work good. The one's in the grocery stores treated for people to eat definitely don't work.

    I like it grilled to much to throw it out for bait. See if the market has trimmings they will sell you.

    That is true, I should ask them for there garbage.
    I've only asked for blood before.
    Now tell me this, how can I improve you're rating?
    At OG it was called karma, but I dont know about here.
    I guess I will just build a fire on the bank today and have me a lunch while i fish.

    I do not think talapia will work very well, it's not very oily / smelly.

    Just a side not on store bought fish. My mother tried to give me some frozen fish a while back. The packageing said," Thawed under refrigeration." In small type of course. In other words, she bought it thinking it was fresh and froze it when she got it home. So it was fresh-frozen-thawed out-purchased-refrozen. I didn't even try to cook it.

    I could find out if live cut tilapia is good for catfish. Im in aqauculture atm and were raising them, we get to take a couple home at the end of the year and i dont really want to clean them when their so cheap ready to cook.
