I have had really good luck fishing central va lakes using frozen cut menhaden. I have caught blues and some of the biggest channels I have ever caught. the problem I am having is while its frozen its good but once thawed its very mushy. any ideas on how to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

INSTEAD OF FREZING IT TRY PACKING IT DOWN IN NONIODIZED SALT TO CURE IT OUT
