Gary Bass will relate to frogs. I have had a lot of success fishing frogs over heavy vegetation. Slop. Some good brands are snagproof, spyro etc. I like the frogs in bullfrog colors and black. You will need strong line and a rod with some backbone. Wait until you feel the fish to set the hook.

Gary I havent ever used the frog but my dad used them several times while he was out bass fishing and he has had some success on them, only reason I havnet tryed it i mostly fish for cats, but it should work, I know bass will eat a frog, and cats will eat anything so it should work.

I've caught loads of bass on the green pork rind frogs you buy in the little bottles with liquid in it....uncle Josh ?..I think. If ya use the hooks with the weed guard on them they go through anything.

Those Horny Toads will work well. You will have to supply a separate hook. I would suggest a 5/0 Gamakatsu.
