Windy conditions made fishing tuff tonight. I had a hard time getting set up on some good holes due to the wind blowing me off anchor. The high water made matters worse. Did'nt get into any consistent action until around 6:00pm. The first fish of the night was a dandy male channel cat the probably weighed between 11-12lbs. I lost my scale Wednesday and have'nt replaced it yet. We landed 1 more channel in the 12lb range later in the evening. In total we caught around a dozen fish. 7:00 - dark was best for us with a couple of double headers highlighting the trip. All fish were caught on cutbait tonight.
Here's a pic of our biggest fish tonight

I really want to fish that stretch again Dan. I could really use a set of Boga-grips and I hear the catfish in that area sometimes come with a set.

Haven't you seen what Roland Martin does on his info-mercial/fishing show? Tie a big float to it!
But if you're going to leave it clamped on the fish, you'll need a really big float!
