March is my favorite catfishing month. Today I pulled up to my first spot and caught a 42, 26, and a 31. Second spot nothing. Third spot gave me a surprise 22 pound flathead. Bait was easy. After the flathead, I ran up river and played with the flotilla of boats fishing for shad at Ancarrow ramp Downtown Richmond.

I Kept a few females full of eggs. Fish eggs, toast and bacon is what's for supper at my house tonight.

That's a big flathead for that stretch of the river.

    Great job again!

How did you do w/ the shad?

Pretty flat! It would be nice to catch them with more regularity.
