Caught this striper at Lake Ouachita in AR weighted 51#
Hell of a fish John. Congrats. Ive seen some big ones down at the Outlet at Douglas Reservoir in Tennessee. Man those Stripers get big.
Wow,thats a big bad bass.Is that a skin mount or a fiberglass replica.
Nice fish. Seen some bigguns come outta the red river below Denison Dam this last weekend. Awesome fighting fish.
Congratulations Radish....thats a nice one for sure and breaks my P.B. of 45 lbs. What did you catch it on?? We use Skipjacks here.
I caught it on a live shad free line.
Yep.....I can picture the scene!!!! What a battle they do give!!!
That is a great looking striper. When did you catch that thing
I caught the fish in Feb. 2007.
Congrats Radish! Thats a huge Striper!!! Beats my biggest by about 48#'s.:smile2:
Radish I hope to get one over 50# some day. Man I love to fish for them.
But guess I will just have to put up with catching a lot of numbers of them at Pickwick on Live bait. They will run around 8 lbs or so. But man you can catch one each drift. Bam and I had one day back in the spring, that we had one each every drift. Guessing we had 40 fish that morning. And if we could have gotten bait. We could have doubled that number.
But that is a nice for for sure.
Pete I sure love to catch them to. When my girls were young we went to Hot Springs every year and they had a ball. At that time there were places that sold live shad but they are hard to find now. I have film of my daughter catching one that went 48#. After she landed the fish she could not pick her arms up. We have a few in the MS river and you can catch one every once and a while . John
dang radish, you're a huge fish magnet!
Beautiful fish John! Nice looking paint job!
wow, very nice, i'll bet that baby put up a nice fight:worship:
I most definantly agree with that! Seems like those bigguns like your bait. Keep it up, gives us all somethin to dream on. LMAO.
