I vaccum seal my fish and they stay fresh for a couple of years.I noticed though that I have to put a folded paper towel in the end of the bag before I seal it and it keeps the moisture from reaching the seal line and I get a good seal. How do you all freeze your fish?

Hello buddy. I also vacume seal most of my fish and you are correct when you place a paper towle in the end of the package and it gets a better seal. I have frozen some fish useing 5 quart plastic ice cream containers, after I eat all the ice cream of corse. I fill the pail just over 1/2 full of fish and fill the remainder of the pail up with water put the lid back on and freeze in my deep freeze downstairs. It works real goog and you can keep up to six months without freezer burning taste almost as if you cought them that day. Bigcatman0816.
