Great post. My coworker just flew out to Afghanistan last week. Missing your loved ones during the holidays is the roughest guys. Its people like you who make the job honorable and your support helps the families left behind keep their chins up.

thanks for those pictures they are sad and make ya proud at the same time.
heres something that goes hand in hand with them .

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG, OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA , A ND TO THE REPUBLIC, FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

I was asked to send this on if I agree or delete if I don't. It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having "In God! We Trust" on our money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the 14% to Shut Up and BE QUIET!!!

If you agree, pass this on, if not delete.

    I AGREE !!!!

    "God Bless America."

I pray for the safe return of all the men and women. And to those who don't an unpayable debt of gratitude. To all the Heros of all our wars.
Freedom is truly not free, but, it is worth the cost.

    Awesome post; thanks for sharing!
I am ALWAYS thankful for everything all our troops have done, are doing, and will do so that we may all live in the freedom we do. I feel as though we could never, ever repay them for what they give us.
May God bless them each and every one and may God continue to bless America.

I tried to go back and watch it a second time. I had to stop it. Don't feel like crying right now. If you know a military family, make sure they know you, and make sure they know they can count on you if they need to. Fly our flag proudly, and never, ever forget the values so many have died to protect.

They are never forgotten. I pray for them all everynight. I am very thankful for having had the opportunity to serve with those brave individuals. All for our country. So, on the Fourth, take a moment of silence and pray for them and think of the sacrifices they made and are still making. THEY WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN.
