Got to cleaning some flatheads I caught last night and found eggs in them I'm guessing a late spawn this year?

That is correct!!!

I also cleaned some small flats and large channels that all had eggs in them. It is my opinion that channels are on spawn now. and flats will be in a couple weeks.

I caught a couple blues with eggs in them as well this weekend. I wanted to try them as caviar but the wife wouldn't let me. The cat sure liked them.

Saw a huge flathead rolling by the bank to the left of kaw point yesterday. Very steep, hardly a bank left to sit a pole there. Richard was suprised how much the water was up, hoping to check it out tomorrow or Wed. when the water passes flood stage.

Yea I went out to kaw point last night and got a couple of flats nothing huge 10lbs and 15lbs but the boat ramp is almost under water.

Thanks. It was about half underwater yesterday evening. I was going to wait until tomorrow to take pics, but might run over there and see. We live about 10 mins away from kaw point.

I need to study up on that im not sure....
Something interesting though. I caught about a 10 inch flathead that had eggs in it. So apperantly they must make eggs before they can even use them???
I cut it up for bait in a pinch.
