Ford vs Chevy, this looks good lets see what happens.....RAT
Chevy all the way. Ask me what I use for fishing and you laugh....
They both are fine pick ups but when the needed work that requires a pick up is finished you can do the work that requires a truck if you have a ford. There is no need to fret as most Ford guys will help a chevy guy when a truck is needed.
Oh I almost forgot. I vote Ford.
Ford all the way. That is why they are still in business and not taking Gov. money.
Amen to what Mickey has said. Later Andy
u can do more with a ford but u spend twice the amount of money for the same performance as a chevy:wink:.
i like ford for their big blocks like the 460's. but when it comes to simple gearing and small blocks, i'll choose chevy all the way. chevy 400 small block or a 350 built up to a 383 with a big crank big cams and as much air/gas as u can feed um, u can pull anything. with a one piece rear main u can rev a small block much higher than a big block.
Makes me no difference, as long as the boat is behind it and heading to the lake or river.
Mopar or no-car! Dodge and Jeep owner here 3x over.
I am a whatever runs kinda guy but ive got a 350 small block chevy motor in my lil s10 and boy does it run...i would feel like i cheated on her if i answered anything but chevy here lol....glad to see i broke the tie to give chevy one up!
FORD POWER STROKE 7.3:wink:
But if I had to choose, I'd take a Chevy Chevette over a Ford Escort anyday.
I'd take a Chevy S-10 over a Ford ranger anyday.
work truck MACK RD pickup 2500 duramax 4x4 1200 mile trip last weekend n.c.to tn. 21.9 mpg that,s why i like the duramax
i choose the more durable and dependable..... CHEVY
Chevy never put food on anyone's table who I know. Chevy never paid for anyone I know to go to college. My vote is for Ford because I know a lot of folks who worked at the Ford plant.
I've owned both over the years...but my old 91 7.3 Ford diesel has been the most dependable truck I've ever owned though.
Im a chevy guy because we had many a people work at the GM facility for years...although it finally closed. Also we have 2 Chevy trucks, my dad's 2500 has 165,000 on it and runs strong, usually pulls the boat. That being said, if we are talking diesel i would take an older Powerstroke anyday, my friends dad had one and it did a great job. Gas powered though Chevy all the way.
Seeing as i own a F350, it's Ford. I've never had any trouble out of all of the Ford trucks I've owned. I have been working on both over the years as my step-dad is a die hard Chevy guy and my uncle a Ford guy.
But as it stands I'll take my 6.8 V10 over any other GAS enigne on the road.
I have two idi's a 93 and a 89 and they are tanks never any problems with them tons of power and get great fuel milage. FORD
