I just ordered a rear sight elevator for my old Glenfield mod. 10
.22 that I coon hunted with. This gun is atleast 30 yrs. old. I ordered
it from NUMRICH gun parts corp. West Hurley NY. I was very impressed
with the parts they have on hand and for so many makes of guns. I just
thought I would pass the info on to other BOC members.

Ever have a gun with sentimental value, and it breaks down on ya? I have an old Marlin .22 bolt action. Something messed up in the action. My brother inlaw completed a gun smithing course, so I figured I'd let him practice on my old .22. He says it can't be fixed, but I know better. He just don't know how to fix it. Oh well...someday I'll find somebody to get it working again. It'll cost way more than the gun is worth, but it was my first rifle, and I like it alot. Besides, new bolt action .22s are expensive.

What does the rifle do or not do?? Is it a bolt action or semi-auto??? them things are pretty simple if you are mechanically minded you may be able to figure it out with help here.
