Has anyone here ever tried the Food Source baits that they make for catfish. I have used the small "maggot" bait on bluegill and crappie with much success but was wondering if it would be worth buying some of the catfish bait. Thanks in advance for any information that you could shed.

I just checked them out on the web; the bait sounds like it would be good for channels, $3.00 for 5 oz. Depends if you want to spend the money or not. One advantage I think is that this bait would probably store in a tackle box with no refrigeration for a long time.

That was my thought about the storage issue. Here is another source for them: www.fishusa.com.

Sounds interesting I went to food source.com but it would not show me the actual weight or quantity of the bait
