Just wondering how many members fly old glory. During holidays there is
a surge in patriotism...but what happens the rest of the year? I fly four
year around...the US flag...My state flag...Marine Corp Flag and a VietNam
    veteran flag.

All year hear, I feel that every home should have a flag pole with a flag flying.

i'd like to get a small flag pole for our yard and have the light to shine on it
but we have trees in the yard that would hinder it in any location that it would need to be and not be in the way.

My flag flies most of the year. I enjoy seeing Old Glory flying.

Catgirl recently posted this neat little poem about our Grand Old Flag.
She has a grand way with words.

Thanks for the replies, on my post Flying flags...just wanted to tell everyone there is a new flag available...It is called the flag of honor...
at first glance it appears to be an American Flag...but after closer
inspection it has all the names of people killed during 9/11, including
everyone on the planes. This year I flew it on 9/11 and will continue
to do so on each anniversary. I believe it is available from Annin.com
