    DANG!
i would LOVE to fly jets!!
    for several reasons

    1. Go faster than my dad. (He is a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot)
    2. To go FAST
    3. It would be something that i dont think i could get bored with.

Phil fortunately I live in military controlled airspace.
The f-15's out of Seymour Johnson use the sector I live in to hot rod.
All during the week from around 9Am or so until about 11 PM it's owned by the F-15. Not uncommon to see dog fighting with lockons and live countermeasures being shot from the tail.
Low flybys with rolls. High speed turns and steep climbs.

Sometimes they'll have 2 flying low and two working up about 15,000-20,000 feet with a tanker stacked up on top.

Few days ago we had a rapid succession of sonic booms that nobody knows a thing about:wink:
    OOPS!
Free airshow 5 days a week right over the house. Most weekends they shut it down for civilian traffic to freely fly. During the week it's open to civilian aircraft but you fly at your own risk.

Had an F-15 go down practically in the yard a few years ago. Took em a month to get it out of the woods. They hauled her out in the middle of the night.

Once in awhile we get worked over by the AT-10's and depending on wind the pattern for Seymour may line up over the farm so we get the big tankers, the C-5's, and anything else they fly in and out.
