Does anyone use fluorocarbon line(not just leader) for catfishing? As I have posted before, sometimes I go out and just fish. In one outing I may fish for bass, cats, crappie, gills, etc. If I am doing this I carry only 2 rods(cause my boat is little), a light spinning and a MH baitcaster usually. I have now started using 15# fluorocarbon on my MH baitcaster for bass soft plastics/jigs and love it. Since I can "feel" better with it, I figured it would be excellent for channels and maybe small flatties.
    Any thoughts?

I just re-spooled one of my reels over the weekend with flourocarbon. It worked fine for me but I only fish for eaters. I had some problem with my old line breaking right at the knot. So far, I have not had the same problem with my new line. I just have to remember not to cut the line with my teeth. Guess I developed a bad habit.
