Hey brothers Im going to try something new this year Fluorocarbone line for catfish. Ive always used it Bass fishing but havent tried it on catfish. Im not talking spooling up my 6600 with it just useing it as a leader. What do you guys think? I was thinking it would give me a better hook set with my kale style hooks because of the less stretch factor. I know with circles it wont matter other than if the lakes real clear or if the fish are spooky. Ok guys whats your take?

I haven't tried it , I cant imagine what it would cost in #50 test, LOL. But to be honest I love it. If I'm bass fishing or trout fishing it works great.

Let us know how it works for ya.

Brother Crab, fluorocarbon leaders is the way to go for stripers and cats. As for cost, it's not that bad when you consider that you are only using 2 to 3 feet per leader. Mac

Jim, I use 40# test, some people us 50# test. You can get it at Gander Mtn., Bass Pro or order it on line.
