    Is it just me?

... As you watch the flooding in the Midwest , have you noticed that
there Are no farmers running around with stolen plasma TVs or holding
stolen Liquor over their heads. There's no looting or yelling "Where's
    Bush?"
"Where's FEMA? Where's my check?", or "Why isn't the Gov't out here
    saving me and my farm?"

Likewise, I've also noticed there are no reports of any other country
coming to help or sending aid.

    Shocking contrast isn't it???!!!!

    Mr Phil:

Thank you for that kind observation Mr Phil. Yes the floods have interrupted our normal everyday lives, like working for a living. And all that we have worked for is gone. But that is OK. Tomorrow we will work again just to get back to where we were.

But since you have been so kind as to consider us in your thoughts, if you could, would you mind contributing a couple of dollars to those poor people in New Orleans who are still struggling after so many years. I am sure they will appreciate it a great deal. After all, the water we have endured is heading their way and I am sure they will need help in stealing their neighbors TV when it floats by.

Let's all make our tax dollars work for the underprivileged.

See ya the next flood or tornado or nuclear bomb Mr Phil.

    Later, John.

Phil,I have been thinking the same thing. Everytime theres any kind of disaster any where but Nawleans its just a ho hum bad day,no need to beg FEMA to help,we can do it ourselves.

I have figured it out. I have never seen a Gay Parade in Iowa. I have seen them on TV in New Orleans. So that leads me to believe it's the Homosexuals fault.

    :smile2::smile2::smile2:

You probably seen them on the news in NO, strutting down the sidewalk with a TV, well at least skipping along.

LOL LOL I was making a joke. LOL

But look on the news, there are a lot wanting to get married. So maybe they need a new TV set for their home. lol

    Besides if I said what I thought, I would be a bigot/raciest.

A lot has to do with how people earn their money. Most Folks in Iowa work and get a paycheck, most folks in New Orleans wait for that once a month check from the government.

It's almost a Red State / Blues State deal. LOL LOL

I haven't seen my backyard for 6 months, it's been so flooded! I've also replaced my kitchen floor once this year, and almost had to do it again..But then again....the good lord has fed my family from the same river!:006:
