The local river (Wabash) river has been flooding for quite some time. I was wondering if there is a good place I should be fishing? I tried a slough last week and never got a bite. Is there a target (structure, current, or whatever). Do you just wait or do you roll up your sleeves and head to a special location? Any help will be appreciated.

When the rivers that I fish are flooded I head to feeder creeks and small streams and a smaller river if that wasnt also raging. It seems if ya find the right feeder they will be stacked high in those spots.

one more note: he fish that I find usually are not from from the river. I have fished far up the feeder creeks and such. And noticed that the fish are fairly close to the mouth of the inflowing water
