Larry,
just wondering if you have heard the latest forecast on the crest of the MN river? I heard that it was supposed to crest Wed near LE Sueur something like 14 ft above flood evel, and Thursday n Shakopee somewhere around 7 ft above stage level.

I hadnt heard anything till your post, I looked on the NOAA site and it looks like there is a big wash heading our way. Are you gonna try to toss a line this week. I wish I could but it doesnt look like any action for me till SAT.
I'm looking ahead to SAT whats your scheduel looking like? Looks like I got the green lite to head out. Shooting to head out 3-4pm till about 11pm. It kinda depends on how busy work is on Sat (time I can head out). Sun is supposed to be a busy one or I would stay out later.
Let me know... It would be cool to hook up and do some fishing(we've been posting to each other so long). we can take my boat.
send me a PM if you want or keep posting on this thread.

We'll have to see what the river does the rest of this week. I stopped by the river yesterday afternoon, and it didn't look too bad. I stopped by the river and I couldn't believe how much it had risen over night. The little sandbar I walked out on yesterday must have had 3-4 ft of water on it today. If it doesnt look too bad on Sat we'll have to go.

I drive by the river every day, so I'll keep a close watch on it.

Hey Ryan,
didnt hear back from you this last weekend.
did take a run out on the River. IT was just a hair from being insane.
You didnt miss anything. No bites. Lots of hangups from floating Debris.
Huge!!!! trees floating down stream with a current from 3.5 to 5 mph.
Im really glad that I found the BOC group. All the tips on boating, anchoring, safety and fishing all came into play, not any easy fish trip. Never seen the water that high and fast.

Quick note. Just as we were launching talked to a group in a boat that caught a 17lb Flatty on a wad of Sticky Stink bait of all things around 2:00pm.......
Needless to say that was the deal maker to get us pumped for an on the border intense fishing trip.
I'll let you know next time I'm getting ready to head out.
thanks
