Flood of 2007 Kansas City pics

    Thanks goodness We had our touney When we did any later and It would likely had been cancelled! About the time we were wrapping things up Sunday morning The rain started and the river started raising, nearly 20 feet so far and not slowing down.

    More pics! I was at Kaw point for about 1 & 1/2 hours. check out the first pic in the previous post and and the last pic in this post to see how much the water rose while I was there

    looks like you wont be hiting that river for awhile now thats alot of drift wood in the river thanks for sharing the pics

    Theres a lot of driftwood and junk floating by down by napoleon, startning to flood into the field and stuff. Ill try to post some picture this evening if I can figure out how!

    It's not connected to Truman Lake in any way, but Truman also will see a lot of water coming in.

    Brad, Thanks for posting those. I've been wanting to get down there for a look around, but got tied up all day. At least that trash barrel at the top of the ramp got emptied, lol.

    We have the Missouri Gathering May 18,19. and 20TH So I was also wondering. Heard from a Brother this mornin. Said fishin in Truman is pretty tough!---------Sister Pat:roll_eyes: :sad2:

    That has gotta suck really bad. Not only is property and lives in jeaopardy, but fishing will be bad for a while.

    Went to check out the Platte by Farley and it was only a few feet from running over the bridge on 45!
