What is your favorite float type and brand. Also what size would be really helpful. I fish from shore and use a 1/2 ounce with dip bait. Take care and God Bless.

I like the Thill floats. The big fish and the "wiggler" I believe it is called.

For Big Chunks of Cut bait, or a nice size live blue gill-KatBobber hands down.

For nightcrawler, dip/punch bait, etc.. Just any decent sized one I pick up in any sporting good store....

Hey bro i know we have a member that makes floats , not to step on his toes i agree as far as aero dynamics the thill big fish float might be the best bet for casting any substantial distance and they can be readily obtained at most well stocked tackle supply stores and some better chain stores ie. Dicks , BPS , Cabelas , Gander and so on .

I've not seen many that can float 1 1/2 to 3/4 lb bait. My favorite, in fact the ONLY one I have in the boat are the Kat Bobbers with a built in light stick holder.
