Me and Gdog Bigcat absolutely tore 'em up last night folks.... we caught so many flatties it got just plain rediculous..... everytime We'd hook one I'd just lmao- we we're unstopable!

I quit counting somewhere around a bazzilion lol..... no PB's or Monster's by any means,,, but people will be hard pressed to find a flattie anywhere around there that we didn't already stick a hook in - we were on fire with magical hooks! lol

I have no skin left on my thumbs, and I'm so tired right now there's no way I can stay awake long enough to upload pics on a phone line connection.... I'll do it tomarrow.
I just need to take a shower and pass out right now.

p.s. there were at least a half dozen nice channels caught as well.... lots of fun!

Bill, what were you guys using as bait, and water temp?

Congrats on the killer night!
Thanks!
We had fresh skips, and live small (about 4") gills... the flatties wouldn't even sniff the skip jack, they only wanted live and kickin' bait.... the ONLY reason(s) we're not still there is.... we ran out of live bait.... and our wifes,,, but mostly because we ran outta bait... least for me anyway (ha!)
On the other hand- the channels wouldn't touch the live bait, they only wanted the cut skip jack... but they hit and fought HARD.
It was a strange night, I'm not exactly sure what had them so fired up like that.... but it's a night for the record books for sure.

The water temp was a whopping 77 degrees!!!
The bite time bagan at 9:45 and we quit around 1:30 or 2..... that is an unusually long bite period for around here, which typically lasts for an hour or hour in a half tops, while tapering off during that time.... tonight it was one after another without taper.

Pepper's Magic Hooks were so hot he hooked a softshell on the foot, and all it was doing was walking along the riverbottom about three feet from his bait. His hook jumped out and snagged that turtle. He caught about 3 fish to my 1.

Alright... this was about the size's of 'em... like I said - no monsters,,, mostly nursery flats - but lot's of 'em and lots of fun....
OH... Gdog didn't want me to take pictures of him without his beard- lmao.... I think I have one or two anyway somewhere in the camerea tho... lemme look!!!! :rotfl:

Actually I think he just don't want to post a fish under 50 lb's... he's got a bunch of pics he took of fish we caught together I've never seen, and I know he's holding back on pictures of fish he has caught that I don't know about!
