I love my CattMaxx 9' MH casting rod with an Abu 6500 C3 spooled with Big Game 30lb Electric Blue!!! I've not caught anything big with it yet but hope to soon. My other fav is the same set up but with a 9' MH nitestick rod. I caught(had 17lb test line then) my PB with it...33.5lb flattie with no problems!

My favorite is a "customized" (I broke about 6 inches of the tip off a few years back - was 7' medium action originally) Bass Pro graphite series rod matched with an Ambassadeur 5500 C4 winch (low gear ratio) filled with 15 pound Big Game mono.

Probably my second favorite is my 7.5' medium heavy Graphite Series with a 6500 TCR (Trophy Class Redfish - basically a 6500 C4, but with medium gear ratio) with 15 pound Big Game. Thinking about stepping up to 20 pound for this outfit.
