Someone saying you can't catch a Flathead in the James River is like saying Mr Koolaid can not smash through a big wall or fence!!! Am I telling my age???:cowboy:

All the James river people seem to be saying you can't catch flathead, bull! I have been catching them 4 days out of the week since the 9th of April. It's the pre-spawn period, bordering on the spawn. You're fishing the wrong places.
