if you are wanting to catch a flat fish hard for the next month and half
they will be feeding hard for the winter to come good luck.

Right now the flats arn't feeding until about 2-3 am, but as the water cools they will come on out earlyer. A friend of mine has been catching some nice ones in the 30 lb range in limblines. but you have to bait up at about midnight, then check them around 3. Im usually headed home by 2 and I fish with rods so I havent had that much luck. Especially in the last month.

I've caught 2 flatties in the past week... 36 and 42 pounds each respectively. Each was caught in 2 feet of water within an hour of sunset on a chunk of cut shad as well as the nice 26 and 48 pound blue , Ahhh... you gotta love those circle hooks!

Naw, Unca... there wuz a front passin thru with lotsa clouds and a nice SW breeze. The blues came after the full moon came out following the passing of the front.

The riffle of the river over the sandbar was more than the catfish can stand. The shad really stack up there. (Oops! there goes a secret!)

Alot of folks head that way to fish with Delmer. I'd rather go with tkishkape any day.
