Flathead Catfish We Caught Last Spring

    Haven't been on here in a while but thought i would share a big yellow we caught this spring in the Brazos near College Station. caught on a Throw line with perch.

    that's a really nice fish. deer season is keeping me away from fishing right now. good luck down on the might brazos.

    Thanks Ya'll It was the biggest one this year at 67lbs. we usually catch one or two big ones a year but the old Brazos is stingy.

    where'd you catch that monster at?

    i've been trying to find good spots to fish brazos and haven't found crap.

    i looked under highway 60 bridge but damn near got stuck in the mud and had a tough time getting down to the water.

    If I caught a catfish that huge, it would probably scare me, it's so far out of my frame of reference. Like some kind of dinosaur or something.

    The Brazos around Bryan C/S is hard to find a good place to put in. 105 and 485 aren't too bad if there is some water in the river and we have pulled some great catches from both spots. We have several other places to put in but they are private property but It's a bitch gettin in and out there too. It's worth all the trouble when you get the first Lone Star open and fish in the boat.
