Are there flatheads in west point lake?
John Ive heard rumors of it but nothing concrete. Best I can say is give it a couple weekends and see what happens
Yes, there are flatties in Westpoint, and plenty of them too.

the fishing on west point for flats is going good you will have good luck up the river above grayson landing allthe way up above frankling ga some good fish have been caught up that way the lake record on rod and reel is 33lbs 12 oz ....caught by toney booker last year have heard or some 50lbs and up but have not been certified ...stop by the stor whene down and say hi and i will try to let you know the lastest that i here chris

from the bank ga .acess off hwy 219 there is a parking area at the bridge on the right hand side walk off the bank look right see where the old old bridge is there is where you need to fish .........this is on the hooch rooster livers , black saltys and whole shad .....:smile2:

Fairly new to this but I am hooked on Flatheads now. Over the past several weeks we have got 8 fish in the 12-28 lbs range. Gotta love it.
