Flathead catfish in Nolin lake?

    I meet a guy yesterday that fished Nolin lake for flats. just wondering if anyone fished it much and had any luck.

    Randy, good luck. I have some old family friends that have gotten many big flatheads from Nolin in past years. They noodle them however and haven't been getting any trophy fish for a couple of years now. Nolin and Rough get hit hard by noodlers and the larger catfish have suffered for it. I'm sure there are still a few good cats in both lakes, but not like there once was. Vern

    noodlers are burning up rough river lake I know a few of them and their gettin 60lbs + fish already. Them guys are nuts I think, but anyways look for the spots you would think a noodler might try it might just pay off. good luck
