Does anyone, here in New Mexico, catch flatheads? I mainly fish the Rio Grande, Conchas, Ute, and Navajo Lakes for catfish, and I only catch Channels and Blues.

Seth,I only have heard of a few places we have flats,Elephant Butte, the Rio Grande below there, and the Gila river. I have heard of one being caught here at Ute,but I don't believe it was a flat tho. We are supposed to have blues in Ute as well,But in my 35 years here I have seen many big channels that were thought to be blues and weren't ,I myself would love to talk with a NMG&F biologist about the cats here.
