Flathead catfish food habits

    I found this bit of reserch in a book I was reeding. I think this is good info if you are targeting a certain size flat.
    A resercher harvested a number of flathead and looked at their stomach contence and it was found that flathead less than 12 inches long fed mostly on invertebrates; crayfish. Between 12-24 inches was almost entirely crayfish. Greater than 24 inches 96% fish weight, primarily gizzard shad, sunfish, suckers, and other catfish
