Any fisherman successful in catching them in spillways. I fish with bottom rigs. Tips would be nice on fishing spillways for these . Any what bait did you use to catch them with.

Never really had luck around spillways here, mostly cause they are so shallow here. But lowhead dams have been my most productive areas, year round for bigger flatheads. I think they like to get right up underneath the main flow beneath the lowhead dams and ambush shad, small carp, and panish caught in the heavy current. Any bottom rig will work, just be sure to have some good heavy weights. I've tried using slip bobbers and what not in those conditions but never done any good.
